So, you might know what not to wear to a wedding—and if you don’t, it’s listed down below—but do you know what to wear? Every wedding will have a different dress code, ranging from casual afternoon outfits to stunning, floor length evening gowns at a black tie affair. Each occasion requires knowledge of what is appropriate wedding guest attire and what should be avoided at all costs.
Use the invitation for clues
Is the wedding outdoors? Make sure to avoid heels that will sink into the grass. If the wedding starts in the morning or early afternoon, it is safe to assume that the affair will be a little more casual. Does the event start at night?
