21 LGBTQIA+ Organizations To Support During Pride Month And Beyond

The United States has seen an increase in anti-trans and LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, allies and other community members) legislation. Whether it be the “Don’t Say Gay” bill in Florida, the anti-trans legislation in Texas, or the discrimination against trans athletes in sports, trans people and LGBTQIA+ communities are in need. Luckily, there are many incredible organizations dedicated to making sure queer people are supported, loved, and provided for.

A great way to be an ally is to regularly contribute to these organizations by donating to them, either on a monthly or quarterly basis, or whenever you can. However, we know that since it may not always be possible for everyone to donate their money, there are ways to donate your time and energy in ways that uplift the LGBTQIA+ community. Here are some organizations to keep your eye on when you have the means to contribute in ways that are sustainable for you.
